Intel X58 晶片組是目前在電腦效能表現上最亮眼的晶片，搭配Intel i7 9系列得的CPU同時支援到3通道的記憶體
一直是追求效能玩家的手選，但因未推出時間較Intel P55更早因此在目前最夯的USB3.0 和 SATA 6Gb/s在先前推出的X58 主機板都並未支援
而ASUS P6X59D Premium主要增加了對 USB3.0 和 SATA 6Gb/s 的完全解決方案，同時最高Memory容量支援到 4GB x 6 = 24GB的總容量
並還支援在明年2010年才會推出的6核心的CPU  32奈米的Westmere Gulftown。

ASUS P6X58D PREMIUM 的推出，對於一些追求高效能玩家來說是可以考慮購買的產品
因為支援了USB3.0真的是相當好的解決方案，但相對如果本身就已經購買X58主機板的玩家
目前USB3.0也可以透過購買USB3.0子卡的方式來達到擁有USB3.0的功能

相較之下SATA 6 Gb/s 的支援沒有太大的吸引力，主要在儲存裝置上SATA 6Gb/s最明顯的
效能提升還是要等到SSD的介面可升級到SATA 6 Gb/s才會有較大感受

Actually you can consider the ASUS P6X58D Premium for your next MB, for the powerusers, if you already have the X58 MB, you can buy a sub-card for the USB3.0 and SATA 6Gbps function, but if you would like to get them together, this MB will not make you down. Although we can not see the beneit from the SATA 6Gbps now, but in the near future, the SSD will surely release the performance of the SATA 6Gbps interface to another level...
