Think Acer has forgotten how to make a gaming notebook? We know the outfit's netbook line has taken center stage here of late (what can we say--they're hot at the moment!), but clearly the company knows that a market exists in the higher-end, too.
The new Aspire AS8940G-6865 notebook is no small matter, with an 18.4" display, an Intel Core i7 quad-core 720QM processor and Windows 7 Home Premium. Yeah, you can tell they're serious by those specifications alone. The machine was designed to crank on multimedia and 3D games, NVIDIA GTS 250M (1GB) graphics, Blu-ray support, a 500GB hard drive and plenty of RAM. There's also Intel Turbo Boost Technology, which boosts CPU clock speed up to 75% when the system is stressed.
You'll also find a 1920x1080 resolution panel, Dolby Home Theater audio enhancements, five built-in speakers, Acer’s Touch-Capacitive Media Control Interface and a FineTip keyboard with backlight. The usual suspects are already here, meaning eSATA, Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet, and it should be ready for purchase this holiday season starting at $1,349.99

在我們大家都認為ACER忘記了筆電遊戲玩家族群後
他端出了一盤很好看的菜色
而至於玩家買不買單~那又是另外一回事了!
