Kingston has announced three kits that are optimized for Nvidia's Nforce 790i Ultra SLI chipset. All three kits comes in 2GB capacity with support for Nvidia's EPP 2.0.
These new kits will be a part of Kingston N series of HyperX memory, and they will be cooled by Kingston's trademark blue HyperX heatsinks. The slowest one, working at 1,600MHz comes with 8-7-7-20 latencies at 1.8 Volts. The next in line is operating at 1,800MHz with latencies of 8-8-8-24 and the same 1.8 Voltage. The fastest one, working at 2,000MHz will need a higher 1.9Volts to get it to work at 9-9-9-27 latencies.
The 1,600MHz kit is available at the suggested price of US$398.00 while a mere US$2 more or US$400.00 will get you the 1800MHz kit. According to the press release, the 2,000MHz kit will become available later this quarter and the price has yet to be announced.
