雖然說現今一般人大都是利用電腦來瀏覽影音檔案，但畢竟電腦的聲光效果還是遠不如大尺寸的電視及影音劇院喇叭來的生動與震撼 (尤其是多聲道的電影檔案)，所以一般我們還是會將它們燒錄成 DVD 拿到電視的 DVD Player 來看。但將電影檔案燒錄成 DVD 時最常碰到的就是 製作 DVD 選單 以及 匯入字幕 的問題，您可能必須去找一些補助的軟體來完成前置作業，然後再用燒錄軟體燒錄，相當麻煩。
