Want to buy GTX275...

Hi all,
i want to buy new gtx275 replace my old 8800gts(640M) video card,
some other member tell me buy 2pcs gtx260+ SLi better than one gtx275 is true?
but my motherboard is 680i SLI for intel,can support this(one or SLI)?
and what power supply can cover this?

actually , 260 + SLI is better than GTX 285 too

but it means u have to change higher watts of power supply

like 850w .....

i think that it depands on what kind of game or jobs u want to do ...

If you just do light loading program , GTX 275 is enough

And 500w power supply is enough for GTS 275 full loading

I'm actually thinking which, gtx 275 or 285 ...
but the 275 seems to consume more power.

hi,
first at all, two GTX 260s + (216 streamprocesser) are not any better than two GTX 275s (240 streamprocesser), and single GTX 275 is little bit better than GTX 280.

Second, nforce 680 has 2 types, one is nforce 680i LE(LITE version), another one is nforce 680(full version), so what type is yours?? only nforce 680i full version has 2 PCIe (X16 single, X8 SLI) slots, and both PCIe slots are PCIe 1.0 version.

Third, if you want to do SLI with these 2 cards, I think 850 watts with 80 plus powersupply is good enough... but if you wanna do the triple SLI later, I think you should buy 1000+ watts powersupply for later purpose.
