Apple 推出新官方程式 Podcasts AppApple 在 iOS 6 Beta 1 推出時預告的 Podcasts 官方程式已在 App Store 中推出。
在 iOS 6 Beta 1 推出之時，就傳出 Apple 正在打造新的獨立 Podcast 程式並且也正在開發 Podcast 技術的消息，27 日在 App Store 中，各位就能發現這個官方 App 的蹤跡。
Podcasts App，主要提供一個方便尋找、訂閱和聆聽 Podcast 的方式，讓使用者可以輕鬆地享受 iTunes Store 中，數以萬計的 Podcast 資源，這包含了新聞、語言學習，甚至開放式課程，都可以在 Podcasts App 中輕鬆尋獲。
Podcasts App 和其他 Apple 官方程式一樣，都提供了 iPhone 和 iPad 雙介面，讓使用者可以在各種 Apple 裝置上，享受 Podcast 資源。除了一般的播放功能外，Podcasts App 提供了 30 秒快轉或倒轉，使用者可以重覆觀看教學影片或是聆聽語言教學的某一片段。新的 Top Stations 功能則可以讓使用者快速聆聽 Apple 推薦的運動、藝術、商業、喜劇和新聞內容。
另外 Podcasts 還提供了睡眠時鐘，讓它可以在播放一段時間後自動停止，而同步功能更可以讓使用者無縫地在電腦和行動裝置上聆聽 Podcast，你只要將 iTunes 裡的 Podcast 同步到 Apple 行動裝置上，Podcasts App 就會從你上一次中斷的時間開始播放。
