[簡測]Hitachi 7K3000 2TB & 7K1000系列 (圖多)
[前言]看這波硬碟這麼便宜,就升級一下手邊的硬碟吧!
7K3000 是已經看了好一下,找到四千以下的就入手了。
7K1000.C 也是在這次入手,這次買1TB還比去年買640GB便宜,真不知道以後TB級的會再掉多少...

4.Hitachi 7K1000 750GB 以前測得比較少,所以這邊數據沒有寫入和隨機讀寫的

機本讀寫測試裡,滿明顯的7K3000跟5/i不太合,連頻寬都上不去,接上ICH9R後整個傳輸優勢就出來了!
而搜尋時間比較高是7K3000的罩門。
7K1000系列,單碟密度不斷增加,傳輸速度當然一直進步。
倒是4k讀取一代一代略為下降,倒是4k寫入一代比一代進步,不知道Hitachi在韌體上是怎麼設定的?

跑PCMark主要是稍微測試一般使用的狀況,準確性雖然可能不是太好,不過還是稍微看一下。
PCMark05:
7K3000雖然在5/i上頻寬比較上不去,但是靠著5/i的cache,倒是在這次四顆硬碟裡面跑出最高分!
至於7K1000系列,是4k寫入最快的.c,拿到了最高分。
PCMarkVantage:
7K3000則是輸給了7K1000.C。
7K1000系列也依然是7K1000.C最快!
[結語]
就這次簡單測試的結果。
7K1000.C比較適合當作系統碟。
7K3000雖然傳輸較快,但是搜尋比較慢,再加上每GB較7K1000.C高,單純地當資料碟會比較好。
也看的出來每一代的7K1000都有進步,到了7K1000.C平均傳輸已經破110MB/s!
最新的7K3000更不用說,平均傳輸更高達120MB/s,最高讀寫到了160MB/s附近,相當的厲害!
而噪音方面,個人就這四顆硬碟跑隨機存取的聲音來說,
7K1000 750GB非常大聲,很明顯的讀寫聲。
7K1000.B 640GB有比較安靜,但是在平常的環境下,會知道他有在讀寫。
7K1000.C & 7K3000 則是非常非常的安靜,要開機殼靠近聽才知道有在讀寫,
不過有伴隨的細微高頻聲,對高頻聲非常敏感的人可能要注意機殼隔音能力!

不過 HITACHI 的硬碟我都拿來當牧場 = = Hitachi 是俗又大碗.. 日立1T算起來比較超值
安靜又不貴的價位, 看來現時1T要道啦~~ 讀取退步,寫入進步,不知道是不是技術到了瓶頸~ Dell 6i 也是一樣的問題7k3000 上不去...

LSI 3Gb/s RAID Controller問題...
這不是不合的問題...
我很早就問過LSI了..
他給我很簡單的答覆...

不要想太多...
LSI是不會在3Gb/s產品做升級的..
另外一個issue就是...
LSI 3Gb/s RAID產品不支持3TB以上單顆硬碟...
這不是做不到..
只是想不想做而已..
到目前為止LSI是沒有任何計畫對這些產品做任何保證..
樓主顯然要去檢查你在LSI控制器上連接6Gb/s HDD的Link Speed...
IR/IT產品使用SASFlash..
IMR產品則使用MegaCLI...
或著您也可以使用MSM去檢查.. Dell 6i 也是一樣的問題7k3000 上不去...
