硬刷LiteOn韌體~以BenQ DW240S為例

硬刷LiteOn的教學目前看到的大多是BenQ DW2010 to LiteOn LH-20A1H,
這跟現在作法有一些不一樣,加上正好入手BenQ DW240S
就自己寫個教學吧.....
====預備軟體===
Flash Utility
EEPROM Utility
已破解的LiteOn韌體,bin或是exe檔
以上都可以在

首先執行EEPROM Utility備份DW240S的EEPROM

按Backup EEPROM
選擇放置的地方

然後等到顯示完成就可以了

接下來要備份DW240S的韌體,以備未來要還原之需
執行Flash Utility

按Read Flash
也是一樣選擇要放置的地方

要注意的是EEPROM的備份檔也是.bin的,不要把EEPROM備份檔和韌體備份檔混淆
等程序完成就可以了

接下來使用Flash Utility來刷韌體

執行Writer Flash,記得Update Boot code要打勾
然後會顯示警告

當然是按是...
選擇要刷的韌體,記得要刷的軔體是要破解過的

這邊先試iHAS 124的韌體
最後會再次警告,當然還是繼續....

然後等完成後,重新啟動再來測試

這邊用USEME外接盒做的,所以關閉外接盒電源重新啟動即可....
接下來跑一下基準測試,看起來是沒問題

iHAS124的軔體看來沒有限速
照上面的方法來刷iHAS324的軔體

接下來會發現BenQ DW240S的LED燈會一直閃,放任何片進去都偵測不到....
這個時候就要使用EEPROM Utility

到CrossFlash頁執行CovertDrive
等到完成就重新啟動

有些狀況是還不行的,就必須刷回原來的EEPROM或是找原型機的EEPROM

這邊舉例是選擇原來的EEPROM

等到Restore EEPROM完成後就重新啟動

用CD Speed跑基準測試,可以看到iHAS324韌體仍然是有限速的

用OptiDriveControl跑品質測試可以看到Jitter了....

和BenQ DW240S BB33的表現看來,PIF Total有下降,但是Jitter變的比較高一點....
如果要刷回去BenQ DW240S韌體
用Flash Utility刷回原韌體 + EEPROM Utility刷回原來的EEPROM即可
