近年來無線產品不論是WiFi或是藍芽周邊產品迅速蓬勃發展，很多意想不到的東西都經由無線做傳輸媒介，雖然無線傳輸資料已經不是什麼新聞，但行動硬碟可經由WiFi傳輸資料就真的第一次看到，當然很多人會說就把資料放在雲端就好，何必這麼麻煩，相信很多人知道雲端雖然相當方便，而且只要有網路就可以資料存取，不過雲端畢竟還是將資料放置於非私人的存取空間，那麼資料的安全性就值得探討了!! 資料放置在非私人空間，其實資料是否有被其他人存取或竊取根本無從得知，如果只是放一些無關緊要的資料那還無傷大雅，如果是放置重要資料或是重要照片，那如果因為這樣而造成資料外流，產生的問題那就非同小可了，如果有個私人存取空間，又可以隨時利用無線來存取資料，那麼雲端就變成沒有那麼的重要，而且資料的安全性相對私密許多。
Seagate Wireless系列產品可以將硬碟內的資料利用WiFi讓行動裝置可以去存取資料，並可分為兩大系列Wireless行動儲存裝置與Wireless Plus行動儲存，Wireless行動儲存裝置最大容量為500GB，Wireless Plus行動儲存有500GB、1TB與2TB可以選擇，皆為經由WiFi傳輸資料、存取與串流，使用者可輕鬆將行動硬碟內的資料展示與分享。

做串流相當簡單，不需經過繁瑣的設定即可將畫面串流至螢幕中，另外要注意一點就是Chrome Cast有版權限制，原本要用HDMI錄影盒把Chrome Cast畫面擷取出來，但因為版權問題會無法顯示!!!

Seagate Wireless應用層面相當廣泛且相當便利，可以將所需要的資料隨身帶著走，且安全性與保密性比放在非私人的雲端高出了不少，永遠不會怕資料有外流的問題，搭配原廠所提供App軟體操作相當簡單與容易上手，操作模式淺顯易懂，與一般連接NAS的App軟體相當類似，功能也是相當齊全，可以線上直接播放影片、音樂、圖片與文件檔案，如果出去玩或是想要分享私人的檔案給朋友，只要將Seagate Wireless帶出門，就可以輕鬆利用WiFi將資料分享給你的親朋好友；整體來說Seagate Wireless是一台操作相當簡單容易的設備，第一次使用只要將網路設定與WiFi密碼設定完成即可使用，並可利用USB將資料先儲存到硬碟內，出門就可以隨時隨取資料，操作簡單又方便；在應用上如果家中的螢幕或電視非智慧電視，則可以利用Apple TV或是Chrome Cast將畫面直接串流到顯示裝置，應用就更加廣泛；原廠提供三年保固，有任何後續服務問題可直接找Seagate處理。
