繼6月初 Computex 期間 NVIDIA 在台北君悅飯店設置的虛擬實境體驗專區大獲好評，這個週末再度於台北舉辦【Together, We Play The Future】NFan 暑期限定粉絲聚會，吸引了上百位粉絲與玩家前往與會。
活動地點選在信義威秀影城二樓的加州比薩廚房，門口看板上寫著"包場"看起來相當霸氣啊!

接下來是技術課程時間，由 NVIDIA 社群經理 Fred 為大家介紹最新的遊戲與GPU相關技術。

DirectX 12 主要針對遊戲裡的煙霧、火焰和光影投射等視覺特效有更先進、逼真的呈現方式，另一方面也透過低階API減少CPU的賴程度，讓GPU可以完全發揮運算實力。NVIDIA Maxwell 2.0 架構 (也就是 GeForce GTX 900系列顯卡) 還支援最高階的 Level 12_1 特效，包含立體材質取樣、稀疏流體模擬以及保守光柵運算方式，讓遊戲的畫面更為逼真。此外針對虛擬實境的應用，NVIDIA也設計了一個名為「Mulit-Res Shading 多重解析度投影」的畫面繪製方式，藉由壓縮並減少畫面邊緣區塊的像素，可加速GPU繪製畫面的速率，以提高整體畫面的流暢度。

緊接著由開水小姐帶粉絲們進行「你比我猜猜」的比手畫腳遊戲，不過後來卻演變成用台語解釋 NVIDIA 相關技術與電影的猜謎活動，真是有趣。
