這次介紹的WD Red 6TB NAS專用硬碟搭配群輝QNAP TS-451感覺相當不錯，硬碟部分這次WD所推出的高容量6TB Red系列產品表現相當優異，雖然轉速只有5700轉，在電腦端的測試成績相當亮眼可達到170MB/s左右的水準表現，搭配獨家的NASware 3.0韌體技術，可提供在NAS系統下使用RAID環境最佳的效能與穩定度，WD Red使用3D Active Balance Plus技術，可增加硬碟使用壽命外，並可降低因硬碟放置不平衡而導致震動或噪音；WD的Red系列硬碟來說長時間工作環境是基本訴求，並且搭配RAID使用，在設計上與韌體的搭配上就必須針對這種嚴苛的環境做設計，以達到最佳表現與效能，WD Red系列產品針對家庭與小型企業NAS系統設計(1~8 Bay)，適合一般玩家與小型企業使用，並可以做各種多媒體應用，不論是影音串流還是檔案分享功能，NAS都是可以輕鬆做到；WD針對Red系列保固期限為3年保固，讓使用者享有較長的保固期限與較佳的保固品質。
NAS部分QNAP TS-451採用Intel 2.41GHz 雙核處理器，搭配4GB或1GB DDR3L記憶體，內建了GbE RJ45*2、USB 3.0*2、USB 2.0*1，硬體部分的配置算是相當不錯；資料傳輸效能部分表現還算不錯，採用RAID5模式傳輸寫入最高可達114.71MB/s 讀取最高可達108.89MB/s(ATTO Disk Benchmark)；在操作介面方面相當人性化，搭配自家的QTS作業系統，並導入即時轉檔串流功能，可以將影片透過NAS即時轉成行動裝置能夠播放的格式，加上App可自行安裝，要下載BT、開農場、架式VPN、影音串流…等各種應用，整體應用性與功能來說相當強大，另外原廠還整合了不少行動裝置App可以讓NAS與行動裝置間做資料存取或是影音串流、線上音樂播放器讓NAS內的音樂直接播放至手機上、整合相機與相簿同步功能，操作控制介面與行動裝置類似，讓使用者感覺相當的容易適應與上手；這次TS-451導入了QvPC技術不透過電腦也可直接設定NAS，另外還做虛擬主機，讓一台NAS擁有更多的應用，真的是非常的方便。
