家中老哥不知道從哪裡弄來一台Server，跟我說要升級硬碟，我一開始以為是3.5吋的硬碟，那選擇性相當多，不過後來看到機器才知道，原來….是2U機架式的Server，採用2.5吋的硬碟，看完臉都歪了，開始思考到底有哪一家的2.5吋硬碟，左思右想熊熊想到WD有推出2.5吋的Red系列產品，Red系列針對家庭與小型辦公室NAS/Server系統 (1~8 Bay)設計，當然二話不說就是用它啦!!它的容量有750GB與1TB可以選擇，那當然就是直接採用1TB拉，現在就來看看這款WD 2.5吋Red 1TB的表現嚕

WD 2.5吋Red硬碟在電腦端測試結果雖然不算非常亮眼，但畢竟主要不是效能取向的產品，使用Red系列主要是使用NASware 韌體技術與硬碟的穩定度，WD Red系列使用3D Active Balance Plus技術，可增加硬碟使用壽命外，並可降低因硬碟放置不平衡而導致震動或噪音；搭配Server測試做RAID5沒想到有著不錯的亮眼表現，在ATTO Disk Benchmark Read部分竟然達到了458.30MB/s的亮眼成績，這讓我嚇了一大跳，相信這樣的組合可以讓那台Server再戰5年吧XDD；WD針對Red系列保固期限為3年保固，讓使用者享有較長的保固期限與較佳的保固品質，WD在台北、新竹、台中、台南與高雄都有服務中心可提供服務，售後服務相當完善。
