今年Intel在5月中旬解禁了搭配Haswell Refresh處理器的9系列晶片組，在LGA2011腳位部分也即將推出了Haswell-E與Haswell-EP處理器，搭配之主機板晶片組為近期新聞相當多的X99，X99晶片組搭配目前最新一代的DDR4 2133MHz記憶體、14個USB Ports(6組USB3.0與8組USB2.0)、10組SATA 6Gbps…等，處理器部分採用LGA2011-3腳位，雖然同樣是LGA2011但不相容於Ivy Bridge-E處理器，Haswell-E系列處理器這次推出Core i7-5820K(6C12T.預設時脈：3.3GHz.Turbo Boost：3.8GHz.15MB L3 Cache)、Core i7-5930K(6C12T.預設時脈：3.5GHz.Turbo Boost：4.0GHz.15MB L3 Cache)、Core i7-5960X Extreme(8C16T.預設時脈：3.0GHz.Turbo Boost：3.3GHz.20MB L3 Cache)，最高階的 Core i7-5960X Extreme一舉將核心數提升至8 Core並HT至16 Core，效能更加亮眼，相信可以滿足更多追求直至效能的玩家。
主機板大廠微星msi在這次的X99系列主機板同樣推出了電競系列產品，命名為X99S GAMING 7，支援Intel LGA2011腳位Haswell-E/Haswell-EP處理器產品線，X99S GAMING 7沿襲了一貫的傳統，採用全新第四代軍規用料(鉭質電容、超導磁電感與固態電容)並採用超導磁電感(SFC, SUPER FERRITE CHOKE)與黑色電容(DARK CAP)，也同樣導入了Guard-PRO，包含了電路保護、濕度保護、高溫保護、靜電保護、EMI保護與ECO供電，Audio部分這次導入Audio Boost 2技術，包含獨立Audio PCB Layout區域、獨立音效供電、軟體部分搭配Creative Sound Blaster Cinema 2、於音效晶片區域上導入電磁波屏蔽已降低干擾源、使用雙耳機功率放大晶片與Nichcon日系濾波電容，Audio Jack採用鍍金接頭與後I/O USB提供獨立5V供電使外接獨立DAC時可獲得最佳音效品質；網路晶片同樣採用Killer E2200網路晶片，玩家可依照自己需求調整各軟體網路頻寬優先權，提供最佳的網路傳輸品質；這張主機板也不忘支援了M.2與SATA Express 介面，讓玩家可以發揮SSD最佳效能；I/O部分 PS2與USB介面提供了電競設備專用連接埠，提供更好的靈敏度與反應，Connector彈片使用3倍鍍金材質，提供10倍使用壽命與防止氧化；主機板上與BIOS設定內提供了OC GENIE 4(第四代超頻精靈)，讓超頻新手與老手都能輕鬆超頻，使用最簡單的超頻按鈕即可享受超頻所帶來的效益；接下來就要來報導剛解禁的X99晶片組的X99S GAMING 7嚕。

這次介紹可以說是第一手的測試，Intel X99晶片組搭配Haswell-E處理器表現真的是相當亮眼，Core i7-5960X Extreme是8C16T，多工處理表現相當亮眼，真的可以說是效能王，從上面的測試程式表現中可發現，如測試程式只是跑單核心時，表現沒有特別亮眼，但跑多工處理的測試程式或是檔案解壓縮與影像轉檔時，多工處理的優勢立刻突顯出來，且搭配了目前最新的DDR4記憶體，效能可以更上一層樓；這次搭配的微星msi X99S GAMING 7表現相當不錯，保有電競系列的優勢外，用料再提升，採用全新第四代軍規用料(鉭質電容、超導磁電感與固態電容)外，還採用了超導磁電感(SFC, SUPER FERRITE CHOKE)與黑色電容(DARK CAP)，讓電競主機板也能玩超頻；提升主機板防護措施導入了Guard-PRO，降低了主機板的故障機率；音效部分採用了Audio Boost 2技術，讓音效細節更加清晰與定位清楚，不論在任何應用環境都是生歷其境；網路晶片同樣採用Killer E2200網路晶片，玩家可依照自己需求調整各軟體網路頻寬優先權，提供最佳的網路傳輸品質；如果是超頻新手玩家，可以利用主機板上或BIOS內的OC GENIE功能即可自動超頻，享受超頻所帶來的CP值與效益，超頻老手當然就可以按照自己的喜好到BIOS內做調整嚕!!
