R9 280X雖然骨子裡其實是前一代卡王Radeon HD 7970 但表現還是相當出色，藍寶 Vapor-X R9 280X 3GB TRI-X OC WITH BOOST不但在散熱方面下了不少功夫，搭載Vapor-X 熱超導技術，並搭配9010 120CFM散熱風扇與5支混搭熱導管組合，散熱表現相當優異，使用FurMark燒機溫度維持在71度左右，風扇聲音相當安靜，幾乎聽不到風扇的聲音，在GPU晶片與記憶體頻率都比公版來的高，在效能表現上也比公版來的出色許多。
這張顯示卡耗電方面也相當可觀，使用8 pin+8 pin外接電源，在電源供應器的挑選上必須注意；藍寶原廠並提供3年保固，在各方面的表現都相當不錯，不論在效能還是在散熱方面，都達到一定的水準之上，想要使用AMD高階顯示卡且害怕噪音的玩家藍寶Vapor-X R9 280X 3GB TRI-X OC WITH BOOST是個不錯的選擇。
